About Our Coach
Jon Waldrop brings nearly a decade of head coaching experience at the high school varsity level, consistently demonstrating his expertise and passion for the game. With over 100 career wins and playoff appearances every year but one, Jon's coaching career is marked by success and dedication. He has led teams at Brazos High School, Waskom High School, and currently heads Faith Academy Bellville, where he just completed the most successful season in the school's history.
Jon's outstanding achievements have earned him prestigious accolades, including the 2022 Longview News-Journal East Texas Coach of the Year and the 2022 Texas Association of Basketball Coaches Most Outstanding Coach for 3A Region 2. Residing in Sealy with his wife Erica and their two children, Harloe and Slade, Jon is committed to helping young athletes reach their full potential. His proven track record of maximizing player abilities makes him a standout in the world of basketball training.
