About Our Coach
Alexis Stumbough brings a strong competitive background and extensive coaching experience to Advanced Athletics Club. A former collegiate athlete at the University of Central Arkansas, Alexis competed as a six-rotation Outside Hitter, earning numerous accolades while helping lead her team to many successful seasons and victories.
With over a decade of playing experience and four years as a national-level head coach, Alexis has developed a passion for helping athletes grow both technically and mentally in the game of volleyball. Her coaching accomplishments include leading her team to qualify for the Girls Junior National Championship (GJNC) in 2023 and coaching her team to an impressive 5th-place national finish at AAU Nationals in 2024.
Before returning to Houston, Alexis also served as the Assistant Director of Conway Juniors Volleyball Club in Arkansas, where she played a key role in athlete development and program leadership. She is committed to building confident, disciplined athletes and helping players reach their highest potential on and off the court.
